Built by boaties, for boaties
Boat History Report started because the same checks car buyers take for granted didn't exist for boats — and Australians were paying the price.
Why we built this
After a flood-affected tinnie sold twice in the same season — once in Northern NSW, once three states away with no mention of the damage — it became clear the information existed, it just wasn't in one place a buyer could check before paying a deposit.
Boat History Report pulls together PPSR, state marine registers and ACCC recall data into one plain-English report, built specifically around how Australians buy and sell boats, jet skis and everything in between.
Built on existing public registers
Rather than building a new register, we connect to the ones that already exist — PPSR, state marine authorities and the ACCC.
All seven states and territories
Every report searches NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS and NT registers, not just the state the boat is currently listed in.
Every watercraft category covered
From tinnies to yachts to jet skis, each category has its own tailored report built around what actually goes wrong for that type of buy.
Aussie owned. Aussie supported.
Independent
Not affiliated with any state marine authority, insurer or dealer network — our only job is giving buyers an honest picture.
Nationally focused
Built around Australian registers and the Privacy Act 1988 from day one — not a US car-report tool relabelled for boats.
Fast support
Real people answering support requests, based in Australia, replying within one business day.
